Vargas Blues Band

Javier Vargas of the Vargas Blues Band is from Spain. His recordings are difficult to find, but you can contact your local record dealer and ask them to order his CDs from Warner.

It is a shame that you cannot find his recordings at most of the largest online CD shops, as he is a very gifted artist and one worthy of world wide attention. You can find most of his CDs at CyberCD by following this link:

On listening to his recordings, you will note that his music is influenced by rock, funk, blues, some flamenco and Latino music. His CDs range in style from the hard blues/rocking "Texas Tango" to the Latino flavored "Feedback", but all of his work is blues flavored. He has played on stage with Carlos Santana. Vargas is such a gifted artist and his band is excellent. You will not be disappointed if you go to the trouble of finding and buying his recordings.
